This plan is for people who come to Phu Quoc to sleep well, move a little every morning and be looked after in the afternoons. It is not a retreat with a teacher and a fixed group. You stay at one property on the north-west coast that lists open-air yoga each morning for guests, swim before the sun gets strong, and have three treatments booked across the week.
We set the timetable around the island's heat. Beach-safety guidance on Phu Quoc is to stay out of the sea and sun from 11:00 to 14:00, and midday temperatures in April often reach 34 to 36 °C. So the active part of each day ends by 09:30, the treatments sit in the late afternoon, and the middle of the day is for shade, reading and sleep.

Day by day
Day 1
Arrive, unpack, early night
Private car from PQC airport, roughly 35 to 50 minutes to Ong Lang by our planning estimate, a little longer to Vung Bau. Walk the property before dark so you know where the yoga deck and the quietest stretch of sand are.
Day 2
The routine starts
06:30 swim while the sea is flat. 07:00 yoga, often an hour long, at the property's own session. Breakfast afterwards. Late afternoon: your first treatment, a 60-minute massage. Island salons publish classic 60-minute massages at about 300,000 to 500,000 VND; resort spas start higher.
Day 3
Shore walk at low tide
Same morning routine, then a slow walk along the shore. In Ong Lang the rocks show at low tide and the pools between them are worth a look; wear reef shoes. Afternoon free.
Day 4
Dawn at Ho Quoc Pagoda
The pagoda terraces before the day visitors arrive
The one early car. Ho Quoc Pagoda, a Zen monastery on the east coast about 18 km from Duong Dong, opens at 06:00 and asks for modest dress; covering shoulders and knees is the safe choice. Arriving early means cooler steps and fewer visitors. Entry is free.
Back at your base by 10:00 for a late breakfast.
Day 5
Hot stones
Morning routine. In the afternoon, your second treatment: a 60-minute hot-stone massage. At one Ong Lang resort spa the published price for this is 970,000 VND; elsewhere on the island the range runs from about 500,000 VND.
Day 6
Cua Can river morning
Skip yoga or do it early, then take a short ride to Cua Can for an hour on a kayak on the river, about 80,000 to 100,000 VND per person per boat by a recent agency figure. Flat water, light effort, back before 10:00.
Day 7
Reflexology and a last sunset
Morning routine. Third treatment in the afternoon: 30 minutes of foot reflexology, published at 390,000 VND at one Ong Lang resort spa. Sunset over the sea comes between about 17:40 and 18:30, depending on the month.
Day 8
One more swim, then the airport
A last 06:30 swim and yoga if your flight allows. Private car to PQC timed from your flight.
Yoga is run by the property, not by us. Several resorts on Ong Lang, Cua Duong and the Cua Can coast list a morning session for guests, and we only quote properties that do. Times and style vary; we confirm them in writing before you pay.

Treatments and what they cost on the island
| Treatment | Length | Published range on Phu Quoc |
|---|---|---|
| Classic body massage | 60 min | about 300,000 – 500,000 VND |
| Aromatherapy massage | 50 – 80 min | about 400,000 – 740,000 VND |
| Hot-stone massage | 60 min | about 500,000 – 970,000 VND |
| Foot reflexology | 30 – 50 min | about 300,000 – 620,000 VND |
| Facial | varies | about 500,000 – 900,000 VND |
| Resort spa, any treatment | varies | from about 700,000 VND |
These ranges come from one 2026 survey of island salons and resort spas, and they are typical market ranges, not our prices. Resort spas sit at the top of each range. One Ong Lang resort spa publishes opening hours of 09:00 to 19:00, which is why we book treatments for 15:00 to 17:00 rather than after dinner. If you want treatments every day, one Vung Bau resort was launched with daily spa treatments included in the room rate; ask us to check its current terms.

Who this plan is not for
- Anyone looking for a structured retreat with one teacher, a group and a daily programme of classes.
- People who want medical treatment, detox regimes or weight-loss programmes. We book massages and yoga, nothing clinical.
- Late sleepers. The plan only works if you are up for a 06:30 swim most days.
- May to October visitors. The west coast has bigger waves and murkier water then; see the rainy-season stay.

Common questions
Questions travellers ask most
Is there a yoga teacher just for us?
Not by default. The yoga is the property's own morning session for guests. If you want private sessions, tell us in the form and we ask the property whether its instructor takes private bookings.
Can we swap a treatment?
Yes. A facial, an aromatherapy massage or a body scrub can replace any of the three. Published island ranges run from about 400,000 VND for aromatherapy to about 900,000 VND for a facial.
Is April too hot?
April is the hottest month, with midday highs often 34 to 36 °C. The plan still works because the active part of each day ends by 09:30, but December to March is more comfortable.
Do you arrange special diets?
We pass your dietary needs to the property before arrival and ask them to confirm in writing. We do not run a meal programme of our own.
