About

One island, long stays, few moves

Chill Phu Quoc plans stays of 7 to 14 nights on Phu Quoc for independent travellers. We choose the area with you, book the room and the private transfers, and add a few light activities. That is the whole job.

What we do

We plan slow beach holidays on Phu Quoc and nowhere else. A stay with us is a base on a quiet stretch of coast, private cars to and from the airport, and a handful of booked things to do: a massage, a market morning, an hour on a kayak, a visit to a pagoda before the heat. Most of your days are left empty, on purpose.

Our four plans cover the common cases: a seven-night beach week, a 10 to 14-night long stay, a wellness week and a rainy-season stay. Anything in between, we build to order.

How we plan a stay

  1. Month first. The season decides the coast. From November to April we plan on the north-west; from May to October we split the stay with the calmer east coast.
  2. Then noise. We ask how you want evenings to sound and choose between Ong Lang, Cua Can and Ganh Dau accordingly.
  3. Then distances. How often you will go to town, whether you need a hospital nearby, whether the room needs a kitchen.
  4. Then the room. We name the property and room type in the quote, never just a star rating.
  5. Then a few activities. Two to four light bookings, spaced out, never on consecutive early mornings.

We publish the facts behind those choices on this site with their sources: room ranges, Grab fares, massage prices, rainfall by month, market hours. If a figure is uncertain, we say so. The daily costs page is the clearest example.

What we don't do

  • Day-tour packages and busy schedules with several stops a day.
  • Theme parks, big evening shows and ticket bundles for them.
  • Luxury private charters: yachts, chefs on board, villa events.
  • Island-hopping boat days as a standard part of a plan. We add a boat morning only on request in the dry season.
  • Visa processing. We tell you the rules; you apply yourself.
  • Fixed-departure group tours. Every booking is for one party only.

What we are not good at

  • Large groups. Our plans assume parties of up to about six; beyond that, rooms and cars need a different kind of planning.
  • Very low budgets. If you want the cheapest bed and a scooter, you will do better booking directly.
  • Nightlife. Our areas are chosen to be quiet after dark.
  • Trips that combine Phu Quoc with mainland Vietnam. We only plan the island.

Why there are no reviews on this site

We do not publish testimonials or star ratings on our own pages. Reviews on a company's own site are chosen by the company, and you have no way to check them. Instead, we put the things you can check in the open: the sources for every price and distance, a list of what each plan includes and excludes, and a section on every plan saying who should not book it.

When you get a quote, it names the property. You can read independent reviews of that property wherever you usually do, before you pay anything.

Where to go next

If you are still choosing a base, start with the area comparison. If you know the area and the dates, the pricing page explains what a quote contains, and how to book explains the steps.

Common questions

Questions travellers ask most

Are you a local company?

We plan stays on Phu Quoc only, and every plan on this site is built around the island's areas, seasons and published local prices. Contact details are shared by email once you send an enquiry.

Do you guide us during the stay?

No. Our plans are self-paced. Drivers handle transfers and the booked morning outings; the rest of the time you are on your own, with written notes.

Why do you only do Phu Quoc?

Because a slow stay depends on knowing small things well: which part of a bay is rocky, which months the west coast turns rough, how far the market is. That only works on one island.
