Three ways in

Chill Phu Quoc plans long, quiet beach holidays on one island. We do not sell day-tour packages or busy multi-stop schedules. If you already know you want a week or two of sea, sleep and simple food, start with the question you have right now.

01

I want to book a stay

Four stay plans: a 7-night beach week, a 10–14-night long stay, a wellness week and a rainy-season stay. Each has a day plan, inclusions and the reasons not to book it. See the stay plans.

02

I am choosing an area

Ong Lang, Cua Can and Vung Bau, and Ganh Dau on the north-west coast, each read for noise, distance to a market and a clinic, and room prices. Compare the areas.

What a slow stay means here

A slow stay is a holiday with few transfers. You land at Phu Quoc International Airport, drive to one base, and stay there for most or all of your nights. Most days have nothing booked. A few have one light thing: an hour of massage, a morning at Duong Dong market, an hour on a kayak at Cua Can, a walk to a sunset spot. Everything else is sea, shade and food.

The island suits this. Phu Quoc has been a special zone (đặc khu) of An Giang province since 1 July 2025, and the west coast faces the sunset. Sunset over the sea comes between about 17:40 in mid-November and about 18:31 in early July, so you can plan the evening around it. Foreign visitors who fly straight to the island can stay up to 30 days without a visa, which is more than a 14-night stay needs. The details are on the how-to-book page.

How we choose an area for you

The first thing we ask is how you want the evenings to sound. Duong Dong town has the night market, busiest between 19:00 and 21:00, plus bars and traffic. Ong Lang, about 6 km north of town, is a rocky bay with calm water that travel guides describe as less visited. Cua Can has a beach of about 3 km and a river mouth used for kayaking. Ganh Dau, about 30 km from town at the north-west tip, has fishing villages next to a large resort strip.

Then we look at what you need nearby. Duong Dong market opens at 05:00 and closes at 19:00. Ganh Dau has its own small market, open 06:30 to 21:30. The international hospital is in the Bai Dai area near Ganh Dau, and the general hospital and several clinics are in Duong Dong. None of the quiet areas has everything within walking distance, and we say so on each area page.

Why the plans look the way they do

  • One base, or two at most. Packing and repacking is what breaks a slow holiday. The longest plan moves you once.
  • Light activities only. A massage, a kayak hour, a market morning, a temple visit before the heat. No early pickups for all-day tours.
  • Month first. From May to October the west coast gets bigger waves and murkier water, and the east coast is calmer. We plan the base around that.
  • Costs in the open. Room ranges, Grab fares and massage prices are published with sources on this site, so the quote has nothing to hide behind.

Who should not book with us

  • Anyone who wants a full programme every day. We leave most days empty on purpose.
  • Travellers whose main reason to come is the theme parks or big shows. We do not book them.
  • Groups looking for a private yacht, a chef on board or a villa party. We do not arrange luxury charters.
  • People who need a supermarket, a pharmacy and a choice of restaurants within a five-minute walk. Stay in Duong Dong instead; we can tell you why on the area pages.

Common questions

Questions travellers ask most

Is Phu Quoc good for a two-week beach holiday?

Yes, if you pick the months and the area carefully. November to April is the dry season with calm seas on the west coast. Two weeks in one noisy area can feel long, which is why our longest plan splits the stay between two quiet bases.

Do we need a visa for 14 nights?

Foreign visitors entering Phu Quoc directly through an international gate can stay up to 30 days without a visa. If you want to continue to mainland Vietnam afterwards, you need a valid visa first. Check your own nationality's rules before you book flights.

Do you sell day tours?

No. Our plans include a few light activities and transfers. If you want a full-day island tour, any hotel desk can book one; we would rather keep your days open.

How do we get a price?

Send the enquiry form with your dates, party size and the plan you like. We reply by email with one price for the stay and a list of what it includes and excludes.
